Job Requirements

  • BSCE from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in Land Development engineering design and permitting in Southwest Florida
  • Florida Engineer Intern, Florida P.E. preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other typical industry software

Land Planner

Land Planner

Job Description

  • Advising clients concerning the land development process
  • Assisting internal and consulting project development teams with land use, zoning and concurrency related issues
  • Preparing and filing future land use amendment, zoning and concurrency applications
  • Coordinating with Land Development and Growth Management agencies (local, regional and State) with respect to interpretation and implementation of development regulations with the ultimate goal of securing approval on entitlement applications
  • Performing Due Diligence studies for prospective developers and property owners
  • Garnering support from regulatory bodies and the general public for proposed land development projects and attending neighborhood information forums and public hearings

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Strong public presentation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, GIS (ArcGIS) and AutoCAD
  • Experience with Graphics software i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator and/or SketchUp, is preferred but not mandatory
  • AICP preferred but not mandatory

AutoCAD Designer

AutoCAD Designer

Job Description

The applicant for the AutoCAD Designer position should be able to:

  • Prepare drawings for site plans, profiles, and details for water/wastewater facilities, pipelines, and/or storm water/green infrastructure projects
  • Responsibilities will include drafting and developing alignments and profiles of roadways and pipelines, site grading, and drainage features
  • Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards and styles
  • Produce and manage drawing sets

Job Requirements

  • 2-8 years design experience with site/civil projects required
  • Experience in basic civil engineering design principles required
  • Attentive to detail
  • Experienced working on a team
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 and newer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • GIS experience a plus
